A Brexit deal has been agreed in principle with the EU member states, and the UK will officially leave the EU on 31st January 2020. There will be period of transition whilst a range matters, including future trade arrangements, are clarified between the two parties. During this time, we are still encouraging businesses and individuals to take appropriate steps so they are prepared for life outside of the EU.

Resources for businesses

The Government's website provides national guidance for preparing businesses and individuals for the UK exiting the EU.

This includes a simple online tool to help businesses prepare for EU Exit which it pulls together guidance from across government relating to their sector and circumstances.

Without a deal, businesses will need to take action to ensure they are prepared. As part of the 'no-deal' preparation process, the government has prepared a Partnership Pack with information designed to help businesses with their own contingency planning, as well as the customers and clients of business advice services.
