Cllr Millie Earl

Deputy Leader BPC Council

Dorset LEP Board Member

Millie was born and grew up in the Poole ward she now represents, and lives in the area with her partner and her rescue dog.

A campaigner at heart, after seeing inequality in her own community she was inspired to study politics at university, going on to work in marketing and campaign management in the private sector and with charities like Dorset Wildlife Trust and Bournemouth Foodbank.

Millie was first elected to BCP Council in 2019 and, following her re-election in 2023, she became Deputy Leader of the Council and the Portfolio Holder for Connected Communities which includes Economic Development.

Passionate about the environment, Millie voluntarily runs a variety of projects that benefit the community through waste reduction and, having successfully worked to tackle a number of issues that were impacting her local shopping district, Millie now runs an annual event to celebrate the district and encourage residents to shop locally.
