The DTA work closely with a number of organisations including Visit Dorset, Visit Bournemouth and Poole, Best of Dorset, Dorset Food and Drink and a variety of Dorset Culture and Arts programmes. We welcome a wide variety of businesses which work not just directly with tourists but those supporting the industry as well such as media, PR, schools and colleges.
We hold a number of networking events each year and our Annual Conference is held in March. In order to attend these events and be a part of our Conference and workshops you will need to become a member.
Members of the DTA will benefit from invitations to these members only network events as well as notice of industry and tourism sector consultations. A DTA Action Plan, based on the Dorset Destination Management Plan is currently being developed and members will have the opportunity to engage with this for the first time in March 2018 at our annual conference in Poole.

Website (portal for information)
This is not a consumer facing website – but is an ‘umbrella’ website for Dorset tourism. To provide information on Dorset tourism trade matters to support the DTA to promote, market and develop tourism in Dorset. A key aim of the website is to signpost to other relevant websites including the Destination Management Organisations in Dorset as well as other organisations. To increase the levels of cross promotion between the existing websites to maximise business for Dorset. It promotes credibility of the Dorset brand across various audience groups, not only pan Dorset but further afield.
