The Great South West is a partnership between Dorset LEP, Heart of the South West LEP and Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly LEP, local authorities, universities and businesses.
The South West economy is already bigger than that of Greater Manchester and more than two and half times that of Birmingham. Our region is home to the single largest infrastructure project in Europe, Hinkley Point, generating £billions of business opportunities. On top of this, we have the best natural capital in the country, attracting more visitors than anywhere outside London.
The Great South West partners published a local growth prospectus on 13 January 2020 that aims to deliver £45 billion of economic benefit and 190,000 new jobs over the next 15 years.
