Career Prospects

The Finance and Insurance sector has been among the least affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our research of jobs advertised in the sector throughout 2019 shows that:

  • Over a quarter of jobs were for professional occupations - programmers and software developers, management consultants and business analysts and researchers
  • One fifth were for sales and customer service occupations and associate professionals where the financial and investment specialism is concentrated. A further 16% were for managers, directors and senior officials - such as chief executives, financial managers and marketing directors.
