Business Case Due Diligence: An invitation to tender

Business Case Due Diligence: An invitation to tender

Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is seeking tenders to undertake due diligence work on future business cases shortlisted for funding as part of a framework agreement.

Dorset LEP requires the submission of full business cases as part of our main funding schemes, including Local Growth Deal, Growing Places Fund and Getting Building Fund. Full business cases are reviewed in line with our Local Assurance Framework and the process outlined in our Decision Making and Due Diligence Policy. To provide additional rigour to inform decision-making by the Dorset LEP Board, we employ independent expertise to undertake objective due diligence of these submissions.

Dorset LEP is seeking to procure independent expertise to undertake objective and independent due diligence on future projects, should we receive further funding for such activity via our flexible framework arrangement. Should future funding become available and due diligence of full business cases (or related work) be required, assessments will be on an ad hoc basis and Dorset LEP will approach those within the framework at the earliest opportunity to commission this work.

The tender document contains the draft Framework Agreement selected suppliers will be required to sign, as well as more detail on the due diligence requirements and process. The maximum value of the Framework is £95,000, exclusive of VAT, over 2 years.

The deadline for applications is 12:00, Wednesday 30 October 2020.
