Funding Opportunities - Lorna Carver

Funding Opportunities - December 2018

Hello and welcome to the December edition of my funding opportunities blog.

- By Lorna Carver, Dorset LEP Director

The modern Industrial Strategy is now in place and a £4.7 billion challenge fund for R&D is starting to be pumped into UK organisations via highly competitive competitions. For this reason, we now have a Bid Writing Support Service to help Dorset organisations to win some of this money. A recent testimonial:

“The Bid Writing Supports Service’s] expertise in grant writing was instrumental to our finished applications. Having previously successfully written several peer-reviewed grants in the past during my research post and raised hundreds of thousands of pounds, I was amazed by how many insightful changes and additions [they were] able to suggest to our applications. I would not hesitate in recommending the service- it was the impetus for us to direct our business strategy through local businesses and institutions with whom we continue to work.” Arash Aframian

If you are a Dorset-based organisation looking to lead or partner on a challenge fund / Innovate UK competition then you can apply for a one-to-one with Bid Writing Support by clicking here.
