Government launches three consultations to support reforms to clamp down on fraud

The government has announced wide ranging reforms to the powers and role of Companies House, to improve business transactions and tackle economic crime.

Aimed at improving transparency and trust, they include new powers to take steps to improve the quality and value of information it holds, and restriction of the use of corporate directors on company boards to stop criminals from hiding behind complex corporate structures.
