Homes & The Economy Conference - 27 February 2024

Dorset LEP is hosting a one-day conference in Bournemouth on the important issue of ‘Homes and the Economy’. 

Dorset LEP works with partners from all sectors towards prosperity for the Dorset area that benefits all residents and visitors to ensure better, longer, healthier lives. Homes for people of all life stages are fundamental to this goal. 

That’s why we’re hosting a one-day conference on 27 February 2024 at The Highcliffe Marriott Hotel in Bournemouth on the important issue of ‘Homes and the Economy’. 

Our conference is for everyone with an interest in solving issues around housing and accommodation – homes. And how homes can have a lasting impact in the future sustainable prosperity of our communities and our businesses.

We will bring together a diverse range of speakers from private, public sector and academia to consider questions including:

•    How does housing affect productivity, recruitment and retention?
•    How do we build communities with suitable homes for all life stages?
•    What are the tools that we have or need to address these issues?
