The purpose of the Dorset Gateway is to be the central point for information, advice and support for new and existing businesses within the county; providing them with a holistic business support service, by diagnosing their needs and signposting them to the most appropriate commercial or publicly funded assistance available to help them grow.
One element of specialist business support that the Dorset Gateway seeks to provide is in supporting Dorset businesses to write and submit bids for funding that will enable growth through innovation and contribute to our wider goal of improving productivity in Dorset.
As a key part of the Dorset Gateway’s business support offer, this service is aimed at supporting high-potential/high-growth organisations looking to apply for funding that will help to meet the challenges set-out in Dorset’s Local Industrial Strategy (LIS) and the UK's modern Industrial Strategy.
We are seeking to appoint a supplier to deliver this specialist service on behalf of Dorset LEP. Applicants must have an evidencable track record of winning large funding applications on behalf of businesses.
The budget allocated is up to £40,000 per annum including VAT. Subject to the availability of funds, Dorset LEP may offer a 12 month extension to the supplier which would lead to a potential contract end date of 31st March 2022. The budget allocation for year two would again be up to £40,000, and therefore the budget over a two year period, if optioned, would be £80,000. All figures quoted are exclusive of VAT.
