Dorset LEP is pleased to support the Careers and Apprenticeship Show at Bournemouth International Centre on 26 September 2018.
Skills shortages are the single largest challenge facing UK PLC. Dorset LEP’s vision is for a high-skilled workforce, meeting the needs of Dorset’s growing economy and priority sectors.
This unique county-wide business-led event will bring schools, colleges, universities and businesses across Dorset together and will showcase the very best that Dorset has to offer in relation to careers and apprenticeships.
This event offers businesses direct engagement with young people aged 15-19 across all schools in Dorset who are investigating their future careers and the opportunity to:
- Directly talk face to face with students, parents and carers
- Discuss careers and apprenticeship opportunity within your business
- Reach all Dorset schools through one single event
- Develop long-term relationships with schools across Dorset
Dorset LEP is pleased to be supporting the event in collaboration with Southern Universities Network (SUN), Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Careers and Enterprise Company, Young Chamber, Bournemouth Borough Council, Borough of Poole, Christchurch Borough Council, East Dorset District Council, and Dorset County Council.
The event is open to all Dorset businesses.
