Phil has been Principal of Bournemouth and Poole College since January 2022, building on a 20-year career in education and skills, which has featured extensive and strategic working with major employers to support their people and training needs.
The college delivers technical education to school leavers and adults and is one the biggest and best apprenticeship deliverers in the UK. Its courses cover virtually every sector of the economy. It is currently developing new ‘T-Level’ delivery, a Degree Centre on its Poole Campus focusing on its higher education delivery, and recently secured planning permission for a new £36m building at its Bournemouth Campus.
Phil is also a member of the Dorset Skills Board.
