Project Summary:
Dorset LEP allocated £51,675 of the Local Growth Fund to Arts University Bournemouth to initiate the LapSafe Learning Level 3 (LLL3) project.
Students at Arts University Bournemouth are now able to loan new laptops fitted with the latest industry standard software free of charge.
LLL3 provides Level 3 learners exclusive access to a set of specialist Mac laptops to develop their digital and creative skills outside and beyond the classroom.
A bespoke LapSafe locker unit, which houses the laptops, has been fitted within the reception area of AUB’s dedicated building for Level 3 students. Level 3 students include those enrolled in foundation degrees/years, undertaking diplomas, BTECs or A-Levels.
