It’s National Apprenticeship Week, the 14th annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships showcasing the positive impact apprenticeships can have on people, communities, local businesses and regional economies.
The theme of this year’s National Apprenticeship Week is ‘Build the Future’ and encourages everyone to consider how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and employers to build a workforce with future ready skills.

Careers and Apprenticeship Show
Dorset LEP has joined with nine partners across Dorset, Hampshire and Surrey to host the biggest online Careers and Apprenticeship Show in the south on Thursday 20 May.
The event will feature a full day of interactive webinars, chatrooms, and 70 employer and apprenticeship provider booths to visit.
The evening session, from 5pm to 8pm, will cater to parents with summaries of local industries, job prospects, and educational pathways available to young people.
Parents and young people can register for the event on The Careers and Apprenticeship Show registration page.
If you are an employer who would like to exhibit at the event to promote your career pathways and live apprenticeship vacancies, please contact catherine.beater@bcpcouncil.gov.uk.
