Dorset Gateway announces partners for Back to Business

Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership’s Growth Hub, Dorset Gateway, has appointed management specialists Evolve Members and web and marketing agency Digital Storm as delivery partners for their Back to Business support package.

Funded through BCP Council’s Bounce Back Challenge the Back to Business initiative is free to businesses in the BCP Council area, who’ve been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. The service offers tailored support to meet the specific needs of each business.

Evolve gives business professionals access to a community of like-minded leaders and supports them through peer groups and coaching, as well as providing training and development for individuals and teams.

Finn Morgan, Business Engagement and Dorset Gateway Manager said: “Whilst the nature of challenges facing businesses have changed in recent months, the business environment remains difficult with many business experience issues relating to recruitment and supply chain management. From our initial interest, there clearly is a need for this type of support. It is great to be working with two very experienced delivery partners to provide funded support for businesses. They both have impressive track records in their respective fields, and we’re looking forward to our Back to Business participants benefitting from that expertise.”

Evolve Founder, Warren Munson said: “We’re delighted to extend our relationship with Dorset LEP. We’re looking forward to bringing focussed support to local businesses and helping them to grow and improve post-pandemic, whether that’s through leadership development, strategic planning or business coaching.

Digital Storm is a creative agency for SMEs that is based in Bournemouth and offers branding, print design, web and eCommerce development, as well as creative and innovative marketing ideas to their clients.

Lesley Simmons, Director at Digital Storm said: “We're excited to be able to provide creative support to enable businesses to grow and thrive once again.  The pandemic has shown everyone that creating an excellent digital offer is more important than ever.

Back to Business support is available to businesses in the BCP council area that were trading before 31st March 2020 and have fewer than 250 employees. Priority will be given to businesses where annual turnover has been severely impacted during COVID-19 pandemic.

Businesses in the BCP Council area can find out more and register for Back to Business support at: www.dorsetlep.co.uk/backtobusiness.

Dorset Gateway provides businesses across Dorset with a wide range of funded support, including help with bid-writing, international trade, knowledge transfer and the hugely successful Peer Networks programme.
